UMC is expanding the official Lenovo service center networks

 UMC announced that will expand for repairs from Lenovo Authorized Service Center, located in Jl. R.A Kartini to new Indotek IT Service Center, located in Maspion IT. These broader includes new repairs for across units of UMC's internal operations. IT Service Center is operated by PT IT Service Center in Indonesia, which repairs and spare parts are available during period hours. At time, United Metrolite Central Network Service Deployment Unit (UMCNSDU) provides network service status to the repair status via SMS or Lenovo Support page.

UMCNSDU will deploy and inspect any errors and when errors are caught, it will be sent to two official Lenovo repair facilities who manages the laptop that have any issues.

Furthermore, UMC will begin at H1 2026 trial for new logic and analysis of issues of network campaign.

UMC Bans the DeepSeek amid security concerns

 We are announcing the UMC now starting to ban the DeepSeek due to amid security concerns. The DeepSeek is a Chinese AI was developed by  Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd. that doing business created the AI models is a thing dangerous. And the UMC banned the DeepSeek for employee using dangerous AI models that expose the personal and company information could potentially leak and vulnerable attacks that penetrated for my studio UMC Corporation. We advise to not use DeepSeek AI for security reasons. We appreciate this take serious action by UMC officials at representative from using Chinese AI apps.
