ThinkPad L15 Gen 2: The Repairs
UMC announced that the ThinkPad L15 Gen 2 AMD has entered the IT Service Center and accepted the U.S.-model because there was an intermittent battery error due to battery firmware all zero and severe deep discharge events. This ultimately led to suspension until repairs are done in 2 days from now (09/05/2026 - 11/05/2026), within the repair window. These UMC will suspend these L15 operations temporarily until the battery is resolved within the window. Edit: The warranty is expired and may cost more repairs. Thank you in advance.
