Completion Confirmation: Removal of Lenovo AI Now From UMC Fleet (Legion 5 Units)

1. OVERVIEW

This bulletin confirms the successful removal of the Lenovo AI Now platform from all Lenovo Legion 5 units within the UMC operational fleet.

The removal was executed in accordance with Advisory UMC-AI-1130-L5, following the expiration of UL Solutions certification AI Model Transparency Score — DIAMOND on 29 November 2025.

All Legion 5 units now operate without Lenovo AI Now. System logs confirm removal packages were successfully applied across the fleet.

Certification Lifecycle Note

Lenovo AI Now (Beta) has been archived from Lenovo Support following the expiration of UL Verification ID: V848832. Public access to the Beta software has ended, marking the conclusion of distribution and program lifecycle.

UMC Bans the DeepSeek amid security concerns

 We are announcing the UMC now starting to ban the DeepSeek due to amid security concerns. The DeepSeek is a Chinese AI was developed by  Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd. that doing business created the AI models is a thing dangerous. And the UMC banned the DeepSeek for employee using dangerous AI models that expose the personal and company information could potentially leak and vulnerable attacks that penetrated for my studio UMC Corporation. We advise to not use DeepSeek AI for security reasons. We appreciate this take serious action by UMC officials at representative from using Chinese AI apps.
