Statement of UMC: Bot Automated

Today, we are releasing the statement regarding bot automation claims on the GitHub issue #243.

United Metrolite Central (UMC) is issuing this statement to address recent assumptions and discussions regarding automated behavior across our communication channels and development platforms.

1. No Automated Agents Operate Under UMC

All actions performed under UMC—whether on X, GitHub, or internal testing environments—are executed manually by human operators.

UMC does not deploy bots, auto‑responders, automated posting pipelines, or scripted interaction systems.

2. Use of Assistive Tools Does Not Constitute Automation

Our workflow includes modern writing and development aids such as grammar assistants, clarity tools, and IDE‑integrated helpers.

These tools do not initiate actions, make decisions, or interact with platforms autonomously.

They serve only to improve clarity, consistency, and documentation quality.

3. Transparency in Contribution Provenance

UMC maintains strict standards for traceability and authenticity:

  • All commits, comments, and reviews are manually authored.
  • No GitHub Actions or CI systems impersonate human contributors.
  • No scheduled tasks or API‑driven posting systems are used.
  • All public statements are drafted and approved by human operators.

4. Reason for This Clarification

Recent activity patterns—particularly high‑volume testing, structured communication, and rapid technical responses—led to speculation about automation.

This statement exists to ensure clarity, maintain trust, and uphold UMC’s commitment to transparent operations.

5. Commitment to Integrity

UMC will continue to document issues, publish technical findings, and participate in open‑source collaboration with full transparency.

If future automation is ever introduced for infrastructure or CI purposes, it will be clearly disclosed and never used to mimic human communication.
