Hi everyone,
thank you all for your continued engagement which has been extremely helpful. Some of you may have already come across my earlier messages, but for anyone who hasn’t, I’d like to provide a short summary.
Based on the reports and feedback provided throughout this thread, we’ve collected and forwarded the details about the following models to our colleagues for further investigation:
Legion 5 15ARH05, Legion 5 15ARH05H, Legion 5 17ARH05H, Legion 5P 15ARH05H, Legion 5 15ACH6, Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6, Legion 5 17ACH6, Legion 5 15ACH6A, Legion 5 15ACH6H, Legion 5 17ACH6H, Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H, Legion 7 16ACHg6, IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH05, IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ACH6, Legion T5 26AMR5
For the models Legion 5 15ACH6H, 17ACH6H, Pro 16ACH6H and Legion 7 16ACHg6, we’ve already received a test BIOS version from our colleagues. We’ve distributed this test version to several active forum members who kindly volunteered to try it out. Their initial feedback has been positive, and they’ve confirmed that the test BIOS appears to function as expected and resolves the reported symptom on their systems.
At this stage, we’re still waiting for additional updates from our colleagues. We hope to receive more information, but at the moment we don’t have anything new that we can share. In the meantime, we strongly recommend keeping an eye on the support page for your specific model, as any official BIOS releases or updates will be posted there as soon as they become available.
Thank you again for your patience and cooperation. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more to share.
Edit: Added Legion 5 15ACH6A to the list of affected models.

Current Status
-
Lenovo has already provided test BIOS versions for several Legion models.
-
Volunteer testers reported positive results, indicating that the test BIOS resolves the reported symptom on those systems.
-
As of this bulletin, no public test BIOS or final BIOS release has been issued for the IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ACH6.

Lenovo has stated that further updates are pending internal validation.
Guidance for Users
United Metrolite Central recommends the following actions:
-
Monitor the official Lenovo support page for your exact machine type (MTM)
-
Avoid installing BIOS files intended for other models
-
Do not rely on unofficial firmware modifications
-
Expect any fix to arrive via an official Lenovo BIOS update, if applicable
Context and Implications
The IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ACH6 shares platform lineage with several Legion ACH6 models, including AMD firmware components and TPM implementation. This explains its inclusion in the investigation despite its different market positioning.
At this time, there is no announcement of discontinuation, recall, or withdrawal, and no indication that affected systems are unsafe to use. The situation remains under observation.
